"We had a somewhat beat-up house that had been abused by a renter for 5 years, and we were thinking we would be lucky to get out of it for $100K. But we talked to Tom Peters, who thought we could get a lot more out of it if we fixed it up. He knew from his experience that our size home was in demand at that time. He expertly guided us through all the documents that we had to sign and was always available to respond to all our concerns. We closed on the house a little over a month later.
